Straumnes

Launched late 2008

Straumnes was created as part of a university module in late 2008. The brief was to create a piece of persuasive (video) narrative, out-with that we had creative freedom.

What I decided to make was a short promotional web piece for the city of Dundee, but rather that just filming key points in the city I decided to use time-lapse photography and to post process the pictures in photoshop to show the city in a different light.

Once I had finished processing the pictures and collating them into video I post processed the video by building a wall of the pieces and used a 3D camera and lighting to give the scene a sense of depth.
